"The Session," a one-day collaboration event featuring renowned top bartenders, was produced by Shinya Totsuka, Executive Bar Director at THE KAHALA HOTEL & RESORT YOKOHAMA, and launched in 2022. The 20th event will be held on September 23rd, the hotel's fifth anniversary. To celebrate this milestone, we have invited guest bartender Shingo Noma to join us. In addition to running four bars and a tea specialty store in Hiroshima City, Noma has also participated in cocktail competitions both in Japan and abroad, winning numerous awards. Highly acclaimed for his well-balanced, classic twist style, he will also serve as a Bacardi Japan Whisky Ambassador from October 2024. This session will feature four cocktails and two non-alcoholic cocktails created by Noma using Bacardi Japan products, including Royal Brackley, the first single malt whisky to receive a warrant from the British Royal Family, along with ingredients from Noma's hometown of Hiroshima and tea from his own specialty shop. This is a rare opportunity to experience Noma's unique, balanced and delicately flavored drinks in Yokohama.

■About "Royal Blackra"

Founded in 1812, this single malt Scotch whisky is truly "fit for a king," produced at the Royal Brackley Distillery, the first distillery in history to be granted a warrant to the British Royal Family. The malt produced at the distillery, built on the grounds of Cawdor Castle, the setting for Shakespeare's "Macbeth," is aged in American oak barrels before being finished in sherry casks of different ages. The elegant fruity aroma and complex, layered flavors are the art of sherry cask finishing. The logo on the label expresses this story.
