THE KAHALA HOTEL & RESORT YOKOHAMA (Address: 1-1-3 Minatomirai, Nishi-ku, Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture / General Manager: Yasutoshi Abe), which will celebrate its 5th anniversary in September 2025, will be offering a "Morning Walk/Run" wellness program exclusively for guests staying at the hotel, every Sunday from June 22 (Sun) to July 20 (Sun) and September 7 (Sun) to October 19 (Sun), 2025.
The "Morning Walk/Run" will be organized by trainers at The SPA. Equipped with the latest training machines from Technogym and offering personal lessons, the gym trainers will head out of the hotel and accompany you on your run while taking in the morning scenery of Minato Mirai. They will provide instruction on fun and effective walking and running techniques, improve your form, and teach stretching methods for safe walking (running) tailored to the participant's physical condition and level, supporting your morning activities with a safe program that is suitable even for those who are not used to exercising regularly.
Listening to the sound of steam whistles reverberating in your stomach, feeling the sea breeze as you watch ships go by, and gazing at the sparkling harbor, which is different from the romantic night view, the mornings allow you to fully enjoy the atmosphere of Minato Mirai, enriching the start of your day.

The hotel's exterior is reminiscent of the raging waves of "Under the Great Wave off Kanagawa" from Katsushika Hokusai's ukiyo-e print "Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji." This Japanese breakfast meal begins with a vegetable drink of three colors: tomato, carrot, and green vegetables. The vegetable juice will soothe your body after a run.
