Dessert Bar by Kazuya Takada

The Kahala Hotel & Resort Yokohama's Head Pastry Chef Kazuya Takada has created a special event called Dessert Bar by Kazuya Takada. Special sweets will be served for one day only at the counter in THE KAHALA LOUNGE in a live kitchen style.

For the first anniversary event, we will be offering a special dessert using the famous and legendary "Millennium Forest Maple Syrup." Kahala's signature Shin Pancake will be served with special vanilla ice cream and "Millennium Forest Maple Syrup."
This syrup is produced in Shitara-cho, Aichi Prefecture, and is produced in extremely small quantities. It is made from sap that is slowly collected from maple trees over a long period of time. It has a gentle yet rich taste. Please try this rare maple syrup, which costs over 5,000 yen for 100 ml.

Please enjoy this experiential experience to your heart's content, accompanied by demonstrations and commentary from Chef Takada.

This rare maple syrup currently has a two-year waiting list. It is made from 100% maple sap.
