Rainbows are so special and lucky that Hawaii, nicknamed the Rainbow State, has a jinx that says, ``If you see a rainbow, you can come back to Hawaii.'' Once upon a time, fairies put six colors into a bowl: a red feather, an orange irima flower, a yellow banana, a green fern, blue water from the deep sea, and the queen's purple dress. There is a legend that by mixing the mixture, attaching it to a bow and arrow and shooting it, a rainbow appeared in the dark sky after a rain.
The KAHALA Rainbow Cake, created by head pastry Chef Kazuya Takada to commemorate the hotel's third anniversary, represents the rainbow-colored bridge connecting guests with Kahala, and also expresses the image colors of the six Hawaiian islands in THE KAHALA HOTEL & RESORT YOKOHAMA 's "Hawaiian Room," a concept room that will be renovated from autumn onwards to resemble the six most representative islands of Hawaii.
